Numerous Assaults, Warrants and Intoxicated Individuals Keep Police Busy

Assault

Following an investigation into an incident which occurred on October 31^st, 2025, a 19-year-old female was arrested and charged with Assault. The female was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of February 2^nd, 2026.

Assault / Failure to Comply Release Order & Probation

On November 23^rd at 2:00 p.m. police received a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 1500 block of 8^th Street. Police attended and both individuals on scene, a 40-year-old female and a 50-year-old male, were charged with Assault. The male was also on conditions not to communicate with the female and landed additional charges of Failure to Comply Release Order and Failure to Comply Probation Order.

Arrest Warrant

In the past 24 hours one Arrest Warrant was executed. The individual was arrested and held in custody for court in the morning (Failure to Comply Probation / Failure to Attend Court).

Assault

On November 23^rd at 4:53 p.m. a 40-year-old male was located and arrested for an assault which occurred on November 15^th, 2025, on his mother. The male was released on an Undertaking with a court date of January 22^nd, 2026.

Breach of the Peace

On November 23^rd at approximately 5:58 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 100 block of 1st Street for a report of an intoxicated male who was no longer welcome and was attempting to fight others. The individual was transported to the BPS detention facility, where he was held until sober.

IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)

On November 23^rd at approximately 8:28 p.m., police were contacted about a group of heavily intoxicated individuals who were refusing to leave a business property in the 1100 block of 18th Street. Officers located two males, aged 24 and 31, who were highly intoxicated and uncooperative. Both individuals were arrested and transported to the BPS detention unit, where they were held until sober.
