Brandon Police Service Media Release
At 1:35 pm, a call was received of 2 males and a female fighting in the 800 block of Rosser Ave and one of the males had knife and the female had a crowbar. Police located all three individuals and later determined there had been an altercation between a male and female and the other male. The lone male had been assaulted but did not sustain any serious injury. A 25-year-old Brandon woman and a 27-year-old Brandon man were charged with Assault with a weapon and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and were charged and released for a later court date. The 35-year-old Brandon man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court and will be held in custody for court in the morning.
