Brandon man, 65, charged after allegedly selling meth at the Towne Centre

At 1:30 p.m., Police responded to the Towne Center after receiving a report from security of a suspicious male who appeared to be selling something to people. Officers located the male and found him to be in possession of several small baggies each containing Methamphetamine. The total amount seized is 2.7 grams and has a street value of approximately $50. Officers also located several pills of Hydromorphone and Tamazepam on the suspect without a prescription. The 65-year-old man from Brandon was arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance X2. He was released to attend Court in May.
