Brandon Police Service Media Release
At approximately 5:30 p.m., Police responded to the 700 Block of Rosser Avenue after receiving a report that a taxi driver was having problems with a fare. Investigation revealed that a man threw a beer can at the driver hitting him in the head after the driver refused to take the man and his dog in the cab. The 33-year-old male suspect was uncooperative with officers and was arrested for Assault with a Weapon. He was lodged at the Correctional Center to be released on Tuesday morning with a Court date in May.
