The Brandon 13U Marlins are your 2018 AAA PeeWee Provincial baseball champions. The championship didn’t come easy as the Marlins found themselves down 5-0 after one inning before battling back to upend Oildome 9-7 in the day’s feature match-up. Earlier in the afternoon they received a complete game pitching performance from Nolan Chastko on their way to defeating North Winnipeg 4-2 in semi-final action. In total 10 teams participated in this year’s championship held in West St Paul. Their roster can be found here.
Their season is not yet complete as the Marlins are hosting the Baseball Canada 13U National Western Championship at Simplot Millennium Park from Aug. 16 to 19.
