At approx. 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon police received a report of a highly intoxicated male driving away from the Liquor store located at 10th and Victoria. Officers located the vehicle near 2nd and Victoria were a vehicle stop was conducted. The driver, a 58-year-old Brandon male displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired driving. He provided samples of his breath with readings twice the legal limit. He was charged for impaired driving and driving while over .08 and then was released on a Promise to Appear in Court on April 11th, 2019.
