Police received a report of an incident in which individuals were sprayed with bear mace in the 3100 block of Victoria Ave at 4:30 am. Three individuals who were known to each other were allegedly having a disagreement over money owed. The suspect turned out to be a female youth, who also contaminated herself with the mace. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Center after she was decontaminated. She will appear in court on a later date for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. One of the other individuals she sprayed, a male youth, required medical assistance to be decontaminated. The 3rd individual involved, a 19-year-old male, was found to be wanted on outstanding charges. He was also found to be in breach of court ordered conditions to abide by a curfew and not to consume alcohol. He was also arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Breach of Undertaking, and Breach of Probation.
