To say it was a wet weekend in the city would be a huge understatement. Brandon was one of the hardest hit areas in the Province after heavy rainstorms pounded the city on Friday and Saturday. As the pictures below show, the weekend storm brought a huge amount of rain to the city leaving many areas flooded with water.

Environment Canada reported that rainfall amounts totaled 122 mms at the Brandon Airport.  Weatherlogics is reporting that both Brandon (145.8 mm) and Carberry (151.3 mm) have set new monthly records for the wettest September on record. The previous high (140.4 mm) in Brandon was back in 1921.
