Assault Causing Bodily Harm

On August 19^th at 8:30AM police were called to the Clarion Hotel at the request of security due to a male causing a disturbance. Upon attending officers found and arrested a sober 19-year-old male who had an endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He was released on an Undertaking with a court date of October 17^th, 2024, in Oxford House.

Impaired Operation / Operation with Equal to or Exceeding 80mgs%

On August 19^th at 11:41PM a two-vehicle motor collision at the intersection of 18^th Street North and Hilton Avenue was reported. No parties were seriously injured, no smoke, no fire, and the accident did not block flow of traffic. A 24-year-old male was the operator of one of the vehicles involved and he showed signs of impairment at the scene. He was taken to Brandon Police station where samples read 120 and 110mgs%. He was released to his girlfriend on an Appearance Notice with a court date set for August 29^th, 2024.
