Brandon men arrested after alleged parking lot fight

On Monday night at approximately 10:59pm, a call from a business in the 1300 block of 18th Street regarding a male and female fighting in the parking. A second call was received of a group of people fighting in a parking lot of business in the 1600 block of 18th Street. Police attended and located several people and learned one male was on a Recognizance order breaching the condition not to consume alcohol. The 23yr old Brandon was arrested and lodged at BCC to appear in Court on September 18th.

Police learned a second male, who provided a false name and later identified, had a BPS Warrant of Arrest and had on his person a knife and a canister of bear spray. A 22yr old Brandon man was arrested for Possession of a Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon, Unauthorized possession of Prohibited Weapon, Public Mischief and Breach of Recognizance. The male was lodged at BCC for Court on September 18th.
