Brandon police arrest armed robbery suspect

On Friday morning, officers were called to a residence in the 300 block of 2^nd St for a disturbance.  A 34 year old male of Sioux Valley was there and the resident was concerned for his safety. Further investigation revealed the same 34 year old male had been at this residence on Thursday night.  At that time the suspect pulled knife on the tenant and demanded money.  The suspect then left after getting a small quantity of cash.  The male was arrested for armed robbery, without further confrontation.  He was transported to the Brandon Police Service where he will be held until court later today.
