Brandon Police Lay Charges in Wire Theft, Assault and Shoplifting Incidents
Possess Property Obtained by Crime
On March 13, 2026, 3 adult males were arrested following an ongoing investigation into the theft of wire from a compound in the 1100 block of Rosser Ave E. Assault with a Weapon
On March 13, 2026, shortly after 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault in a residence. The adult male victim had been transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Following an investigation into the assault, police arrested a 23-year-old male. He was lodged to appear in court on charges of Assault with a Weapon, Assault by Choking and Mischief to Property under $5000.
Theft Under $5000
On March 11, 2026, police received a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 3400 block of Victoria. The 27-year-old male suspect was located and arrested on March 13, 2026. He was released to appear in court on a later date.
