Brandon Tournament of Champions 2025 Week 2 Wrap-up

The second week of the 54th annual Brandon Tournament of Champions ended today with champions being crowned in three different divisions.  Forty  teams participated over the weekend including teams from Moosomin, Winnipeg, Minot, Regina, Saskatoon & more.

M and M Food Market U11 A1

Henry Green, Doughty Toms, and Hunter Birch scored for the Moosomin Ice Badgers as they edged out the Minot Wolves 3-1 in the U11 A1 championship final. Goalie Karter Hebert registered stopped 38 of 39 shots to pick up the win. Keumper Aberle replied with the lone goal for the Wolves.

Assiniboine College Female U13 AA

Paisley McIntyre scored at the 13:13 mark of the 3rd period to lift the Southeast Youngfellows Gold Wings to a narrow 2-1 win over the Saskatoon Comet Hurricanes, in the Assiniboine College Female U13 AA final. Hunter Sands also scored for the Gold Wings who went a went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend. Ellie Jeffrey replied for the Hurricanes.

East Side Mario’s U15 AA

In a battle of two undefeated teams, the Eastman Southwest Jets won the A-Side Final 4.3 over the Fort Francis Canadians. The Jets received goals from four different skaters; Justin Robidoux, Dallas Vermette, Dalin Comeault, and Lucas Roeland. Scoring for the Canadians were Kolton Joyce, Jayce Gavel, and Kolby Wood.
