Brandon Woman Charged with Impaired Driving After Failing Breath Test

At 10:07PM on March 14^th, police observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner.  Once stopped, the driver, a 24y/o woman from Brandon,  displayed signs of intoxication common with alcohol.  A demand was given to provide a sample of her breath on a roadside screening device.  The sample resulted in a fail and she was transported to Brandon Police Headquarters for further testing.  At BPS she provided two breath samples, both over the legal limit. She was charged and later released with a court date.  As a result of the charges, her driver’s license and vehicle were seized.
