Structure / Vehicle Fire

On July 30^th at 1:42PM police (and fire) responded to a report of a vehicle fire at White Swan Trailer Court. The fire had spread to the trailer. Minimal damage done to the home, and no one was injured.

Failure to Comply / Possession of a Weapon/ Carrying a Concealed Weapon

On July 30^th at 2:39PM police observed a 22-year-old male on a cell phone in the 1000 block of Victoria Avenue, contrary to a release order not to be in possession of one. He was also found to be in possession of a can of bear mace. His cell phone was password protected, contained a camera, contained social media apps, and had an internet data connection contrary to his conditions. He was arrested on charges of Failure to Comply with Release Order X5, Possession of a Weapon, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was lodged for court in the morning on July 31^st, 2024.

 Assault

On July 30^th at 2:47PM police received a call indicating that a 34-year-old male was wanting to comply with police regarding domestic assault allegations from the previous evening. He was arrested at 5:15PM and lodged for court in the morning on July 31^st, 2024.

Theft

On July 30^th at 6:40PM a business in the 900 block of 18^th Street reported a male and female stole a pair of shoes. Based on the descriptions given police were able to locate the individuals in the 800 block of Rosser Avenue. They had the stolen item with them as well as two Bluetooth speakers they admitted to stealing from a different local business. The 29-year-old male and 35-year-old female were released on an Undertaking with a court date of October 17^th, 2024.

Intoxicated Person X2

On July 30^th police responded to two different calls of intoxicated individuals causing a disturbance. The calls resulted in a 27-year-old male as well as a 56-year-old male being arrested. In both circumstances the males were lodged to prevent further disturbance. They will be released once sober.

Break and Enter with Intent / Possession of Meth / Failure to Comply with Release Order

On July 30^th at 10:53PM police received a call of a break and enter in the 1200 block of 4^th Street. Video footage was given to police. The suspect was wearing gloves while in the building and tried to open the safe. The 33-year-old male was found and arrested nearby. Once arrested he was found to have 8 grams of meth. He is on conditions not to possess drugs. He was arrested with court scheduled in the morning on July 31^st, 2024.
