The Keystone Centre is excited to announce Begonia, Boy Golden, and FONTINE as the live musical acts for its 50th anniversary celebration on June 15th. The outdoor concert will be free and open to the public as part of a day-long celebration of the Keystone Centre's past, present, and future. Nominated for a JUNO Award for her albums "FEAR" and "Powder Blue," Begonia has solidified her place as a rising star in the Canadian music scene. With a unique blend of pop, R&B, and soul, Begonia's performances are known for their emotional depth and powerful energy. Her captivating stage presence and magnetic vocals have earned her a loyal following across the country. Fans can expect an unforgettable performance from Begonia at the Keystone Centre's 50th anniversary celebration, where she will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on all in attendance. Since releasing his debut album, “Church of Better Daze,” in 2021, he’s played every summer festival on your list, performed to a SOLD OUT crowd at the Burton Cummings Theatre, released a dozen videos, curated and directed an art show and music video for “KD & Lunchmeat”, the Seth-Rogenesque hit single that charted to #1 on Alternative Radio, and toured more than 60 venues across North America with The Sheepdogs. Indie-folk/pop artist FONTINE, based in Winnipeg, MB, is making waves. A queer and Indigenous musician of Nehiyaw Iskwew heritage, her debut EP, “Yarrow Lover,” co-produced with friends Kris Ulrich and mixed by Boy Golden, dropped in February of 2023. Inspired by the prairies and the Winnipeg music scene. Beep! Beep! Touch-a-Truck returns to Keystone Center Grounds

Touch-A-Truck Brandon returns to the grounds at the Keystone Centre on June 1, 2024. Touch-A-Truck Brandon is a unique fundraiser that is an interactive, outdoor, family friendly experience, allowing kids to “touch”, climb, explore and discover all kinds of vehicles in a safe environment. A large variety of trucks are on-hand every year including construction, farm, heavy-duty, and emergency vehicles. Once again there will be a QUIET HOUR from 9am-10am, free of sirens, music and honking for those who need it. A canteen serving hotdogs, burgers, bannock dogs, chips and drinks will also be on-hand. The cost is only $5 per person and payable in cash at the gate. Date/time: Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 9-4

WoofJocks Canine All Stars to make special appearance at Fusion Credit Union

The canines will be greeting the public at the Fusion Credit Union Brandon Branch on Friday, March 22nd from 12:00 to 12:45 pm. “The WoofJocks Canine All Stars’ are back in town to perform at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair and will be making a special appearance at our Brandon branch on Friday,” says Mike Csversko, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Fusion Credit Union. “The public is invited to stop by the branch, meet the dogs and have their picture taken. ”Fusion Credit Union has a long-standing partnership with the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba and has been a Platinum Sponsor of the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair for six years.
