Man faces charges after security camera stolen

On August 14, 2023, police received a report of a male communicating via text with an individual with whom he was to have no contact.  He then attended to their residence and stole their security camera. On August 15, 2023, police located and arrested the 32-year-old male and lodged him at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court this morning on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Theft Under $5000.

Woman arrested after smashing windows of downtown business

On August 14, 2023, at approximately 7:30 am, police responded to a report of a female breaking windows at a business in the 700 block of Princess Ave.  Police located and arrested the 21-year-old female in the 800 block of Princess Ave.  She was later released and will appear in court on October 5, 2023 on a charge of Mischief Under $5000.

Road rage incident captured on video

On August 11, 2023 shortly before 7:00 am, police responded to a report of a road rage incident.  The complainant reported parking in the 2600 block of Victoria Ave when the suspect exited his vehicle and proceeded to kick the complainant’s vehicle causing damage.  The incident was recorded on video. On August 12, 2023, police located and arrested the 53-year-old male.  He was later released to appear in court on October 5, 2023 on a charge of Mischief to Property.

Pedestrian nabbed carrying concealed machete, meth

On August 10, 2023, at 6:40 pm, police came across a pedestrian in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue.  The 29-year-old male was found to have a machete concealed in his waistband. Search incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine. The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Carry a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Methamphetamine

On June 14th, 2023, Jenna MALLETTE entered a business located in the 600 block of 18th street. MALLETTE was caught on video surveillance stealing property from the business and exited without paying for the merchandises.
