The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person who is “WANTED BY POLICE”: Jordan BEAULIEU FOR Assault. On September 22, 2023, Jordan BEAULIEU struck his common law girlfriend in the side of the head with a charging cord and then struck her in the side of the head with his open hand. Police have been unable to locate and arrest BEAULIEU for his involvement. A warrant of arrest has been issued for Jordan BEAULIEU as her whereabouts are unknown at this time. The suspect was captured on video surveillance that is attached to this release.

Police respond to report of naked man walking down Brandon street

On September 27, 2023, shortly after 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of a naked male in the 800 block of Pacific Ave.  Police attended and arrested the 35-year-old male.  He was provided some clothing before being lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober, as he was in no condition to care for himself.

Woman accused of scanning low value items for higher value items at self checkout

On September 24, 2023, police received a report of a female repeatedly scanning multiple low value items while placing much higher value items into her shopping bag at the self-checkout at a business in the 2600 block of Victoria Ave.  The business had security footage of the same female doing the same action on September 12 and September 18. Police located and arrested the 32-year-old female at her residence on September 25, 2023.  She was released to appear in court on November 20, 2023, on charges of Fraud Under $5000 X3.

Forcible Confinement, Assault by Choking charges laid in Brandon incident

On September 24, 2023, at approximately 6:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male breaking into a residence in the 000 block of Willowdale Cres while he was threatening to kill a female occupant. Police attended and arrested the 35-year-old male. Further investigation revealed that on the previous day, the male suspect assaulted and choked the female in her home, as he prevented her from leaving. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Break and Enter with Intent to commit Assault, Forcible Confinement, Assault by Choking, Uttering Threats and Assault.

Brandon man accused of trying to choke police officer

On September 22, Officers attended a residence in the 1100 block of Russel St.  At that time they spoke with a 21 year old male, while doing so the male attacked a female officer and attempted to choke her.  The male was arrested in relation to the original reason for the officer’s attendance.  On Saturday September 23, the male was arrested for the assault on the officer.  The male will appear in court on November 30, charged with Assault Peace Officer, and Assault by Choking.
