Local photographers create amazing calendars from area photos

Two local photographers (Caley Brown, Liam Pattison) have both recently released a calendar for 2019 which highlights their respective resume of work. Caley Brown said that she decided to release a calendar of her work after receiving numerous requests from people suggesting that she make a calendar.   She has a passion for capturing the beauty of our area which is featured prominently throughout her calendar.   According to Caley, the toughest part about putting together a calendar is narrowing down the photos to just 12 as there is so many beautiful sights in this area. The 8.5” x 11” calendar is only $25 (cash only) and is available for pickup at Avelle (761-18th Street) anytime Monday- Friday between 10am and 4pm.  The calendar is also available in Carberry at Accenting Styles.  It should also be noted that Caley intends to also publish a table-top book of her work in the not too distant future. 2019 Emergency Photography Calendar by Liam Pattison Like Caley, Liam said his idea to make a calendar came from his family and friends who suggested the concept and he quite liked the idea of producing a calendar featuring some of his work.  According to Liam "There are not many people who do what I do, especially locally, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to try something new, and see how my followers reacted to the idea of a calendar."  He tried to incorporate as many different types and styles of photos as possible of Brandon's emergency services, as well as from the Rivers/Daly Fire Department, Oakland/Wawanesa Fire Department, CFB Shilo Fire Department, MacGregor Fire Department, Whitehead Fire Department and Winnipeg Fire Department.  Most of the photos were taken on-scene of emergencies, or while a truck was sitting in it's fire hall. Liam's calendar can be purchased by contacting him directly on his Facebook page or by emailing him at pattypattison@gmail.com.  The calendars are priced at $22 for local people. For people who need the calendars to be shipped to them, the price of shipping will be added onto the original price. Liam would also like to thank our first responders; firefighters (volunteer and paid), paramedics, police officers, 911 dispatchers/call takers, and the great nurses/doctors at the end of the line for the work they put in daily.
