Crime Stoppers Wanted and Crime of the Week for August 30, 2024

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person who is: “WANTED BY POLICE”: Matthew REDDAWAY FOR Theft Under $5000 & Breach of Probation.

 On July 24th, 2024, Matthew REDDAWAY entered a business located in 1000 block of Richmond Avenue. Once inside, REDDAWAY went shopping, however failed to pay for the merchandise and fled prior to police arrival. REDDAWAY was identified through video surveillance and at the time was on Probation for Theft Under X3 among other charges.  Matthew REDDAWAY’s whereabouts are unknown at this time, please contact Brandon crime stoppers with any information.

CRIME OF THE WEEK for August 30, 2024

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a Assault. On August 16th, 2024, an unknown male was captured on video surveillance entering a business located in the 000 block of 10^th Street. Once inside the male proceeded to bear spray patrons of the business and fled prior to police arrival.
