Dakota Nation Winterfest 2025: A Look Back in Photos

The annual Dakota Nation Winterfest 2025 took place from January 30 to February 2 at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba and the event attracted thousands of attendees from across the province.

In a shift from previous years, organizers focused on sports and recreational activities, including hockey, basketball, volleyball, moccasin games, a pool tournament, and monster bingo. Notably, the pow wow, talent show, and jamboree were not part of this year’s lineup due to financial considerations.

The event’s success underscores its significance as a major gathering for Indigenous sports and culture in Manitoba.
