Demolition work on the International Harvester Building that sits on the corner of 18th Street and Pacific Ave started Monday morning.
Excavators from Total Demolition were tearing apart the south-east portion of the building throughout the day. Traffic across the Daly Overpass is reduced to one-lane each direction for the duration of the demolition.
Work is expected to continue throughout the week.
