Driver hits vehicle, proceeds down Princess Ave the wrong way

On October 16, 2023, shortly after 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of a driver who failed to stop at a stop sign before hitting a vehicle and proceed the wrong way on Princess Ave.  Police located and stopped the vehicle in the 100 block of 13^th street.  The 23-year-old male driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested.

The driver provided samples of his breath that were more than 3 times the legal limit.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Driving While Ability Impaired, Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood, Prohibited Driving, and an outstanding charge of Fail to Attend Court.
