Fire destroys building under construction

Thursday morning Brandon Firefighters Paramedics and the Brandon Police Service responded to a fire at a new building currently under construction in the 4100 block of Victoria Ave. Emergency crews quickly had a number of intersections in the area blocked off to avoid congestion. Liam Pattison, of Liam Pattison Photography, was onsite and captured the following images.

STRUCTURE FIRE
BFES and police are currently responding to a structure fire near the intersection of VICTORIA Ave and E. FOTHERINGHAM drive. Traffic is being diverted away from Victoria Ave. Please avoid the area.
