Brandon Fire and Emergency Services were able to contain and extinguish a grass fire beside the train tracks along Rosser Ave, in the west end of the city.
Fire was moving close to homes on Deer Place, Elk Place, and Fox place along Rosser Ave. Firefighters were able to contain the fire on the south side of the railroad tracks, without impacting any homes or properties.
BFES’s water tanker was brought in to supply more water to the firefighter/paramedics.
