Huge crowd packs the Manitoba Room for Saturday night’s Fight for the Troops

Fight for the Troops took place Saturday evening in front of a very large and boisterous crowd inside the Keystone Centre’s Manitoba Room. There was a total of eight fights contested including two boxing matches and six professional mixed martial arts bouts. Darren “Hollywood” Smith Jr. upset Brandon’s Curtis Demarce via TKO strikes in the evening’s main event. Rodman Batson and Ian White, of Brandon, each won their respective boxing and MMA match-ups. At the conclusion of the event Demarce thanked fans for coming out and said that he would like to make this a yearly event.
