Food truck festivals have become vibrant cultural events that bring communities together through the universal language of food. Food Truck Warz in Brandon, Manitoba is more than just a gathering of mobile kitchens; they are a celebration of variety, creativity, and culinary exploration. As a result, organizers of this year’s event are pleased to announce the return of Indigenous Eats to the 2024 roster of food trucks who will be in attendance.

Indigenous Eats launched in July of 2021 as a project of the Brandon Friendship Centre and they have pleased audiences at festivals and events throughout Westman ever since. From bannock bison burgers and smokies to taco in a bag, this truck celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Indigenous peoples. Each dish tells a story.

This year’s event will take place at the Keystone Centre from September 13 to September 15, featuring 28 food trucks offering a diverse range of dishes from BBQ to BeaverTails and pasta to poutine. Alongside the delicious food, the festival will also include amusement rides provided by Select Shows, making it a family-friendly event that also supports local non-profit organizations such as Westman Dreams for Kids
