Inmate Charged After Throwing Hot Coffee on Officer at Brandon Correctional Centre

On August 10^th a police officer attended Brandon Correctional Centre (BCC) and arrested a 26-year-old male due to incident that occurred on May 31^st, 2025. The inmate had thrown hot coffee on an officer’s arm which was captured on video surveillance. The male was arrested and released via Appearance Notice with a court date of August 11^th, 2025.

Mischief Under $5000

On August 10^th at 2:48 PM police conducted a stop with a cyclist in the area of 15^th Street and Louise Avenue. Due to having an Outstanding Warrant (Mischief Under $5000) the 25-year-old male was arrested. He was later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of September 8^th ,2025.
