Kitchen knife used during dispute

On February 6^th, 2023 police attended to a victim in the 0 hundred block of 9^th Street.  Investigation discovered that a male and female whom are known to each other had gotten into an argument while at an apartment located in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue.  The female suspect accessed a kitchen knife to cut the wrist of the male and the 25 year old male was transported by ambulance for a non-life threatening injury.  A 47 year old female suspect was arrested at the scene and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court February 7^th, 2023 for the charge of Assault with a Weapon.
