Male arrested for allegedly assaulting victim with wooden table leg

Police received a report of an assault, which occurred on September 20, 2019. On the evening of Sept. 22, a 32-year-old male was arrested at his residence for assaulting the victim with a wooden table leg, and for punching the victim in the back. The victim sustained bruising. The male was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Assault with a Weapon, and Assault.
