Male suspect (29) arrested after attempting to sell stolen tools on FB Marketplace

On December 6, 2022, police received information that a suspect was selling stolen tools on Facebook Marketplace.  Arrangements were made to purchase the tools from the suspect in the 900 block of 18^th street N.  The 29-year-old male suspect was also wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000.

Police arrested the suspect when he arrived to sell the items.  He was in possession of the stolen tools, which were seized, and break-in instruments.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on new charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Possess Break-in instruments.
