Man accused of assaulting spouse

At approximately 5:45 p.m., a female contacted Police advising she was assaulted by her husband at their residence in the 700 block of 23^rd street. The assault consisted of the suspect pushing the victim against a wall. A 49-year-old man from Brandon has been arrested for Domestic Assault. He was released to attend Court in July. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries because of the assault.
