North Central Hockey League adds one team for 17/18

The North Central Hockey League has grown by one team, as the Shoal Lake Eagle were accepted back into the league, at the league’s annual meeting yesterday.  All 8 teams who participated in the league last season will return for 20217/18.  The league will consist of one division with each team playing a home-and-home series against each of the other teams for a 16-game schedule.  Games are expected to begin the 2^nd week of November.  A team from The Pas had also applied to join the league and their application was voted down by league representatives.
