Police Arrest Disorderly Patient at Brandon Regional Health Centre: 7.5 Ounces of Cocaine and Over $5,000 Seized

Possession for Purpose of Trafficking / Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime

On October 6th at 12:09PM Police were called to Brandon Regional Health Centre to assist with a disorderly patient who was in possession of a large amount of cocaine. Police attended and arrested a 32-year-old male who was under the influence and in possession of approximately 7.5 ounces of cocaine and $5370.00 cash. The male was medically cleared and lodged at BPS. He will attend court in the morning on October 7th, 2024.

Assault

On October 6th at 6:14PM an assault call came to BPS from the 1000 block of 4th Street. Police located and arrested the intoxicated 46-year-old male at an address in Brentwood Trailer Park. He was held in detention cells and will be released once sober on an Undertaking. Court date scheduled for December 2nd, 2024.

 

RCMP Warrant Executed / Failure to Comply with Release Order

On October 6th at 11:49PM police conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of 18th Street North. A 53-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was wanted on an RCMP Warrant of Arrest. He was bound by a 10pm-5am curfew of which he was breaching. The male was arrested, lodged in detention cells, and will attend court in the morning on October 7th, 2024.
