Police arrest pair in theft of an e-bike

On 2023-09-18, police received a report of a theft of an e-bike from outside of a business located in the 1500 block of 18^th Street.  The suspects were identified via video surveillance and on the evening of 2023-09-28, police located the two individuals responsible walking in the 1000 block of 18^th Street.  Police conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested the 42-year-old male without incident.  The 29-year-old female was combative with police and resisted her arrest.  The male was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-12-14 for the charge of Theft Under $5000.  The female was also released with conditions to appear in court 2023-09-14 for the charges of Resist Arrest and Theft Under $5000.
