Police respond to multiple break & enter calls Sunday in Brandon

Break & Enters:
On Sunday morning, a resident from the 200 block 10th Street E. reported that between approximately 5:00 AM & 7:30 AM, the storage shed on their property had been entered through a small window, which had been forced open. The suspects stole two handheld power tools, and a couple of other items.
Also on Sunday morning, a resident from the 1000 block Russell Street reported that their unlocked shed had been entered and two bicycles stolen from within. The bikes are described a small adult GT Aggressor Sport mountain bike, blue and white in color with orange accents, and had a red coiled cable lock wrapped around the front frame; and, a men’s mountain bike, blue and white in color.
Just before noon on Sunday, a resident from the 1600 block McTavish Avenue reported a theft of multiple tools from their detached garage, which had been left unsecured, between Friday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 8:00 AM. Items stolen included a Husqvarna chainsaw; a DeWalt 20V cordless tool kit; a black bin containing corded power tools – DeWalt circular saw, Milwaukee reciprocating saw, Makita grinder, and 2 “zip” saws; and 2 black pails.
