Shooting – Bullet Through Garage Door

On August 14^th at 7:05PM police attended a residence on Lily Crescent where the owner found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the door to the garage. Police continue to investigate.

On August 15^th at 12:55AM police were informed caller heard a gunshot/saw a muzzle flash on the southeast side of the Colonial Inn. Police attended to the area, K9 called out and attempted a track. Spoke to resident of Lily Crescent and no new holes located. Surveillance is under review and police continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact Brandon Police Service.

Theft Under $5000 X2

On August 14^th at 1:46PM police were at a business in the Corral Centre on another matter when they were informed the store had someone in custody for shoplifting. The 26-year-old male had tried shoplifting approximately $150 in clothing. Released on an Undertaking with a court date of October 24^th, 2024.

Possession of Dangerous Weapon

On August 15^th at 12:52AM a persons check was conducted in the 1300 block of Rosser Avenue and was found to be in possession of a weapon. (Metal bar with screws attached to a chain). The 43-year-old male was arrested and later released on an Undertaking with a court date of October 24^th, 2024.
