Shoplifters apprehended; Prescription Forgery

Shoplifters:

Just before noon Friday, two female suspects were reported for stealing merchandise from the Victoria Avenue Dollarama. The two suspects, aged 36 years and 32 years, were apprehended a few blocks away and approximately $130 in stolen merchandise was recovered.  Both were later released, on appropriate Police imposed conditions, to appear in Court on January 5^th.

Prescription Forgery:

On Friday afternoon, the Walmart pharmacy reported that a 52 year-old male had dropped off a prescription order and that the amount of medication had been altered; that was confirmed by them contacting the doctor.  When the male returned to pick up the prescription, he was arrested for forgery and using a forged document.  He was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court on January 25^th.
