Single-vehicle rollover leads to impaired driving charges for driver

At 8:25 pm on Saturday, a 911 caller reported a single vehicle roll over accident at Queen Elizabeth Park on 26th St North. Officers attended and located a female driver who had reversed off the roadway into the ditch, causing her vehicle to roll over. She showed signs of impairment and was arrested. She failed a breathalyzer test and was charged with Driver over 80 Mg% and Impaired driving. She was released to appear in court in July. Two passengers in the vehicle fled the scene and were located by the Police Service Dog Unit. A 30 year man was arrested as he was in breach of an undertaking by consuming alcohol. He was lodged and will be released to appear in court in August. The second male, will be released to appear in court in August. The second male, a 37 year old from Winnipeg, violated his parole conditions and was arrested. He was lodged at BCC.
