Suspect fills backpack with merchandise, leaves store without paying

On February 3, 2023, police received a report of a theft from a business in 900 block of 18^th Street North.  A male suspect filled a backpack full of merchandise and left the store without paying for the items.  Police were able to identify the suspect through video surveillance.  On February 14, 2023, police located and arrested the 30-year-old male for Theft under $5,000.  He was later released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in court in April.
