SUV attempts to elude police with missing tire, travelling on rim

At 3:35 AM this morning, members were travelling westbound in the 700 block Princess Avenue when a white SUV turned onto the avenue and began travelling in the wrong direction, towards Police.  The SUV had a tire missing and was travelling on a rim. Police activated emergency equipment, but the SUV continued to drive, ultimately ending up in the ditch near 1^st Street and PTH 110 intersection.  The 34 year-old female driver refused to exit the vehicle, showed signs of impairment, and provided a false name to Police.  The owner of the vehicle was contacted and confirmed that it had indeed been stolen just prior.  As a result, the accused is facing numerous charges, including: public mischief, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, driving while prohibited, and possession of property obtained by crime.
