Teen accused of shooting male with BB Gun

At 2120 hours a male was walking his dog in the 500 block of 4^th street when he was confronted by an 18 year old male who pointed an imitation firearm (BB gun) at him. After a brief confrontation the 18 year old male shot the other male with the BB gun multiple times then ran away being chased by the victim. The accused was apprehended by police a short distance away and a police K-9 located the BB gun discarded in an open field behind a nearby business. The victim did not sustain any serious injuries and the 18 year old male was lodged for court the following morning.
