Two females face charges of Trafficking Meth

On January 17, 2022, at approximately 12:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 16th street and Van Horne Ave.  Investigation into the occupants and the contents of the vehicle lead police to obtain a search warrant to a residence in the 600 block of 20 street.  Police located 2 ounces of Meth, a large quantity of unknown pills, Canadian currency, two cans of bear mace, and a stun gun following the search of the vehicle and the residence.  Three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and face charges.

The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old female did not have a valid drivers licence.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be release to appear in court on March 10, 2022 on charges of Possession of Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Possess Prohibited Weapon.

A 31-year-old female passenger of the vehicle initially produced identification to police that was stolen from another individual in Winnipeg.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released to appear in court on March 10, 2022 on charges of Possession of Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Possess Prohibited Weapon.

Another passenger in the vehicle, a 27-year-old female, was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for fail to attend court. She was arrested and later release to appear in court on March 10, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Attend Court.
