Two-Vehicle Crash West of Brandon

Mid-afternoon on Monday, Brandon Fire and Emergency Services responded to 66th St and Highway 1A, west of Brandon, for a two-vehicle crash.

The crash sent the vehicles into opposite ditches, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. There appeared to be front-end damage on the white SUV, and rear-end damage on the 4-door sedan.

It appeared that two ambulances left the scene with patients. RCMP also responded, and Highway 1A was closed for an extended period of time. Photos: Liam Pattison Photography.
