Wanted Man Arrested After Suspicious Activity Report Leads Police to Theft Suspect

On August 19, 2025, at approximately 2:43 PM, police responded to a report of a suspicious male in the 600 block of 18th Street. Upon arrival, officers identified the individual as being wanted in connection with a Theft Under $5,000 and a Failure to Comply with an Undertaking, both related to an incident on August 3, 2025.

In that earlier incident, the 49-year-old male had stolen merchandise valued at $259.78 from a business located in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. At the time, he was under conditions not to attend the premises as part of an existing Undertaking.

The male was arrested without incident, transported to the Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention facility, and is scheduled to appear in court on the morning of August 20, 2025.
