Watch for flamingos around Brandon this week
To celebrate Kin Canada’s Day of KINdness (Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022), the Kinsmen Club of Brandon will be setting up flocks of bright pink flamingos at City Hall, the police station, the fire hall, selected long-term care facilities, and the hospital.
The flamingos bring a welcome pop of colour to a wintry white landscape, and they are meant as a “Thank you” to Brandon’s first responders and other people who have been hard at work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The flocks are also available to celebrate your special day! For more information on how to “flock” a friend for their birthday, graduation, retirement, or just because, please email flockmasterj@brandonkin.ca.
