The Wheat City Whisky Jacks will have a new diamond to call home for 2020, if the Expedition League season gets underway at some point this summer

Citing “travel restrictions into and out of Canada and limits placed on the size of gatherings into the summer by the Province of Manitoba” the Expedition League shared information that the Wheat City Whisky Jacks would be playing their home games in 2020 in a yet to be named city in North Dakota.

“The Expedition League and the Whiskey Jacks are committed to the wonderful fans in Brandon and to the City of Brandon and we look forward to an outstanding 2021 season and many seasons thereafter in the Wheat City”, said Steve Wagner, Expedition League President, in a statement.

The league also announced a delay to the start of the 2020 season from their scheduled Opening Day of May 26th.  Additional details on yesterday’s announcement can be found here.
