Early Wednesday morning at approximately 4:06am, Brandon Police Service conducted a vehicle stop in the 1400 block of 13th Street. The female driver could not produce a driver’s license and claimed to be another person, unknown to her that person was a suspended driver. Upon learning she was being arrested for suspended driving, the female sped off, Police located the vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 1400 block of 9th Street.
Police learnt the identity of the driver and were allowed entry into the residence and located the female driver. A 25yr old Shoal Lake, Mb woman was arrested for Flight from Police, Public Mischief, Endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Theft Under and Breach of Recognizance (condition to abstain alcohol/drug) and lodge at BCC for Court in the morning.
