Two people were taken to hospital Monday afternoon after being involved in a three-vehicle crash on the 18th St rail bridge. Two small cars and a pickup truck were involved in the crash. Brandon Fire and Emergency Services along with Brandon Police Service attended the scene.
Traffic intending to go over the bridge was completely blocked and rerouted. Vehicles travelling northbound were rerouted east on Pacific Ave, while vehicles travelling south were rerouted down Fred Brown Way and onto 19th St North.
Accel Towing & Transport was on scene to clear the wrecked vehicles. Road conditions on the bridge at the time were snow-packed and extremely icy. Photos by Liam Pattison Photography.
