The iconic tag line “Where’s the Beef” is long gone however the new and improved Wendy’s at Park and 18th Street has gone through extensive changes over the last two months. Most of the renovations were performed by local contractors. The locally owned and operated Wendy’s originally opened in the Wheat City in 1987. The restaurant went through a much smaller renovation in 2015.
The customer ordering process has changed where you now place and pay for your order and when it is ready your name will be paged. As of late, Wendy’s has added the popular meal ordering system Skip the Dishes.
A Grand Re-Opening has been scheduled for November 8-10.
